1. Who we are

Vapor Fantasy is an online vape store based in Bur Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, operating at vaporfantasy.ae. We sell vaping products and deliver them across the UAE. This policy applies to our website and to every order you place with us.

It is intended to reflect the requirements of UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (the PDPL).

2. Age restriction

Our products are for adults aged 18 and over only, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe that a person under 18 has given us their details, contact us and we will delete the information.

3. The information you give us

We only ask for what we need to take your order and get it to your door:

Like almost every website, our web server records some technical information when you browse: your IP address, the browser and device you are using, the pages you visit and the time of your visit. This is used to keep the store running smoothly, to keep it secure, and to understand which pages are working well for customers.

• To confirm your order and send delivery updates by phone, WhatsApp or email
• To handle returns, refunds and support requests
• To confirm that you are old enough to buy from us
• To keep the accounts and records that UAE law requires us to keep

• To send you offers and news, but only if you have asked us to

6. Our legal basis for using your information

Under the PDPL we rely on one or more of the following:

• Performance of our contract with you – we cannot deliver an order without your address and phone number.
• Your consent – for example, for marketing messages.
• Our legal obligations – for example, age restrictions on vaping products and keeping accounting records.
• Our legitimate interests – for example, keeping the store secure and preventing fraud, balanced against your rights.

7. Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Information is shared only with the parties who need it to carry out your order:

• Our delivery riders and, for addresses outside Dubai, our courier partners, who receive your name, phone number and address so they can deliver to you.
• Our hosting provider and the software providers that run our website, keep it secure and send our order emails.
• Professional advisers, if we ever need them.
• Government or law enforcement bodies, where we are required by UAE law to disclose information.

Where we share information with a service provider, we require them to handle it securely and only for the purpose we have given them.

8. Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device. We use them for essential purposes only:

• To keep your shopping basket working while you browse
• To keep you signed in to your account, if you have one
• To remember that you have confirmed you are 18 or over, so that we do not ask on every page
• To remember simple preferences, such as your choice of view

We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers on this website. If we introduce analytics or advertising tools in future, we will update this policy first and make clear what has changed.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies may stop the basket and checkout from working.

9. How long we keep your information

We keep your information only for as long as we need it. Order records are kept for as long as UAE law requires for accounting and tax purposes, and for as long as we might reasonably need them to deal with a question, a return or a dispute. Once information is no longer needed it is deleted or anonymised.

10. How we protect your information

Our live website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, so information you send us is protected in transit. Access to customer records is restricted to the people who need it to run the store, and we keep our store software and security measures up to date. No system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, but we take the protection of your information seriously and will act quickly if we become aware of a problem.

11. Where your information is stored

We are based in the UAE, and our website is hosted by a third-party hosting provider. Your information may therefore be stored on servers located outside the UAE. Where information is transferred outside the UAE, we take steps to make sure it continues to be protected in line with the PDPL.

12. Your rights

Under the PDPL you have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you, and receive a copy of it
• Ask us to correct information that is wrong or out of date
• Ask us to delete information that we no longer have a lawful reason to keep
• Withdraw your consent to marketing at any time
• Object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing of your information
• Ask for your information in a portable format

To use any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 16. We will respond as quickly as we can and will not charge you for a reasonable request.

13. Marketing messages

We only send you offers and news if you have agreed to receive them. Every message includes a way to opt out, and you can also simply tell us to stop. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop us contacting you about an order you have placed.

14. Links to other websites, and WhatsApp

Our website may link to other sites, such as our social media pages or a courier’s tracking page. Once you leave our website this policy no longer applies, and we are not responsible for how another company handles your information. Please read their privacy policy.

If you contact us on WhatsApp, that conversation is handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under their own privacy policy. We offer WhatsApp because it is the fastest way to help you, but please be aware that messages sent through it are not stored on our website.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated. If a change is significant, we will make it clear on the website.
