RPM 2 coils are the second generation of SMOK’s RPM platform – bigger, airier coils built for the RPM 2 pod, and not interchangeable with the original RPM coils despite the near-identical name. If your kit is an RPM 2, RPM 2S or IPX 80 and you are using the pod it shipped with, these are your coils. If you are using the second pod that came with the RPM 2 or 2S, that one takes original RPM coils instead – the pod decides the coil, every time. These are genuine SMOK RPM 2 coils, sold as a pack of 5 in all three builds.

- DC 0.25Ω (30-50W) – a dual-coil build with a slightly tighter, more controlled DL draw and excellent flavour at mid power.
- DC MTL 0.6Ω (12-25W) – the mouth-to-lung option: a dual-coil build tuned for nic salts and a cooler, tighter draw.
Compatibility – Which Devices Use RPM 2 Coils
The RPM 2 and RPM 2S in their RPM 2 pod (both kits also include an RPM pod that takes original RPM coils), and the IPX 80, whose box pod is an RPM 2 pod – IPX 80 owners should also know an IPX 80 RPM pod exists for original RPM coils. One clear exclusion: the RPM 100 does NOT include an RPM 2 pod in its box – it ships with an RPM 3 pod only, so RPM 100 owners need RPM 3 coils unless they buy the separate RPM 2 pod version. Changing an RPM 2 Coil
Push-fit, like the rest of the family: remove the pod, pull the old coil from its base, push the new one home, refill and wait five minutes before firing so the mesh saturates. One to two weeks per coil is typical; the 0.16Ω mesh at high wattage with sweet liquid sits at the shorter end of that range.
